[MOON](https://support.hofats.com/en/faq/product-questions?hsLang=en#moon) # On which surfaces can MOON be used? Fire bowls should only be used on fireproof surfaces with at least 3 meters of distance from flammable or heat-sensitive materials such as wooden decks or lawns. MOON may only be used outdoors – never under roofs, balconies, trees, or similar coverings. For the low MOON with a short base, use only stone, concrete, sand, or other heat-resistant surfaces, as it radiates strong heat downward. The tall MOON with a long base offers greater flexibility thanks to the increased ground clearance. When operated with pellets, it can – due to minimal spark emission during proper use – be placed on wooden decks at your own discretion. The heat resistance of the surface should always be confirmed with the manufacturer beforehand. When using firewood, the same safety requirements for fireproof surfaces apply as for the short-foot version. **Important note:** Never leave the fire unattended. Even after the flame has gone out, pellets can continue to glow for several hours. - [Customer account](https://support.hofats.com/en/faq/customer-account?hsLang=en) - [Online Shop & Order](https://support.hofats.com/en/faq/online-shop-order?hsLang=en) - [Codes & Promotions](https://support.hofats.com/en/faq/codes-promotions?hsLang=en) - [Payment](https://support.hofats.com/en/faq/payment?hsLang=en) - [Shipping & Delivery](https://support.hofats.com/en/faq/shipping-delivery?hsLang=en) - [Product questions](https://support.hofats.com/en/faq/product-questions?hsLang=en#main-content) - [General questions](https://support.hofats.com/en/faq/product-questions?hsLang=en#general-questions) - [BEER BOX](https://support.hofats.com/en/faq/product-questions?hsLang=en#beer-box) - [BOWL 57|70](https://support.hofats.com/en/faq/product-questions?hsLang=en#bowl-5770) - [BOWL](https://support.hofats.com/en/faq/product-questions?hsLang=en#bowl) - [CIRCLE](https://support.hofats.com/en/faq/product-questions?hsLang=en#circle) - [CONE](https://support.hofats.com/en/faq/product-questions?hsLang=en#cone) - [CRATE](https://support.hofats.com/en/faq/product-questions?hsLang=en#crate) - [CUBE](https://support.hofats.com/en/faq/product-questions?hsLang=en#cube) - [DIGI DETOX](https://support.hofats.com/en/faq/product-questions?hsLang=en#digi-detox) - [ELLIPSE](https://support.hofats.com/en/faq/product-questions?hsLang=en#ellipse) - [FIRE KITCHEN](https://support.hofats.com/en/faq/product-questions?hsLang=en#fire-kitchen) - [GRAVITY CANDLE](https://support.hofats.com/en/faq/product-questions?hsLang=en#gravity-candle) - [VOUCHERS](https://support.hofats.com/en/faq/product-questions?hsLang=en#vouchers) - [HENRY METAL](https://support.hofats.com/en/faq/product-questions?hsLang=en#henry-metal) - [JOHNNY CATCH](https://support.hofats.com/en/faq/product-questions?hsLang=en#johnny-catch) - [MERCH](https://support.hofats.com/en/faq/product-questions?hsLang=en#merch) - [MOON](https://support.hofats.com/en/faq/product-questions?hsLang=en#moon) - [OVAL CANDLE](https://support.hofats.com/en/faq/product-questions?hsLang=en#oval-candle) - [SPIN 900|1200|1500](https://support.hofats.com/en/faq/product-questions?hsLang=en#spin-90012001500) - [SPIN 90|120](https://support.hofats.com/en/faq/product-questions?hsLang=en#spin-90120) - [SQUARE CANDLE](https://support.hofats.com/en/faq/product-questions?hsLang=en#square-candle) - [TOOLS](https://support.hofats.com/en/faq/product-questions?hsLang=en#tools) - [TRIPLE](https://support.hofats.com/en/faq/product-questions?hsLang=en#triple) - [Returns](https://support.hofats.com/en/faq/returns?hsLang=en) - [Complaint & Warranty](https://support.hofats.com/en/faq/complaint-warranty?hsLang=en) - [Partner & Business inquiries](https://support.hofats.com/en/faq/partner-business-inquiries?hsLang=en#main-content) - [POS Digital Screens](https://support.hofats.com/en/faq/partner-business-inquiries?hsLang=en#pos-digital-screens) - [become retailer](https://support.hofats.com/en/faq/partner-business-inquiries?hsLang=en#become-retailer) - FURTHER INFORMATION - [Imprint](https://hofats.com/en/More-info/Imprint/) - [Privacy](https://hofats.com/en/More-info/Privacy/) - [GTC](https://hofats.com/en/More-info/GTC/) - CONTACT - [Contact info](https://hofats.com/en/Contact/Contact-info/) - [Contact form](https://support.hofats.com/en/faq/kb-tickets/new) - [Complaint form](https://support.hofats.com/en/faq/complaint-form) - ABOUT HÖFATS - [Team](https://hofats.com/UEber-hoefats/Team/) - [Awards](https://hofats.com/en/About-hoefats/Awards/) - [Jobs](https://hofats.com/en/About-hoefats/Jobs/) - [Online shop](https://www.hofats.com/en/) [![hoefats\_schriftzug\_weiss](https://support.hofats.com/hs-fs/hubfs/hoefats_schriftzug_weiss.png?width=100&height=40&name=hoefats_schriftzug_weiss.png "hoefats_schriftzug_weiss")](https://www.hofats.com) höfats GmbH | Albert-Einstein-Str. 6 | D-87437 Kempten Copyright © 2025, höfats GmbH
