Can I use the POS screen even without an internet connection?

Yes – the POS display can also be operated completely offline. A constant network connection is not required, as content can be transferred to the internal memory via a USB drive and then played back without the USB drive.

Important: In order for the device to recognize and import the data, the content must be saved on the USB drive in a specified file format and within a folder structure provided by us. Simply copying a video to the drive is not sufficient.

Ideally, proceed as follows:

  1. Copy content in the appropriate file format, including the specified folder structure, to the USB drive (You can find an archive containing programs in the link below).

  2. Insert the USB drive into the designated port on the screen.

  3. The files will be transferred to the internal memory and can then be played back without the USB drive.

  4. Please note that any content previously stored on the device may need to be manually deleted from memory via the device settings. Otherwise, the new program will only be added to the queue and played in addition to the existing one.
