What is the best surface for my fire bowl or fire basket?
All fire bowls and fire baskets generate intense heat and should never be placed on heat-sensitive surfaces such as wooden decking or WPC boards. Always set up on a stable, level area with ample distance from any flammable or heat-sensitive materials—remember, sparks can fly, and grass is considered highly flammable. Use fire bowls exclusively outdoors, in wind-sheltered areas, and never beneath roofs, awnings, or trees. Ideal surfaces include stone or ceramic tiles, such as standard concrete pavers. Please note that lighter-colored tiles or stones may develop discoloration from the heat; in such cases, consult your tile manufacturer or supplier. Currently, we do not endorse any specific fire mat or protective base.
