How do I clean the CUBE / PLANCHA?
Cleaning CUBE (black):
- Clean the CUBE only with lukewarm water and dish soap.
- Use a soft, lint-free cloth.
- Never use steel wool or abrasive tools.
Cleaning PLANCHA:
- Use a scraper to remove food and grease residues from the still-warm PLANCHA after grilling.
- Push the residues towards the center / fire / embers.

- For stubborn grease, sprinkle some cold water or ice cubes on the PLANCHA.
- Allow the PLANCHA to cool completely before rubbing it with heat-resistant cooking oil*.
 This creates a typical grill plate patina, similar to a cast iron pan.
- Alternatively, clean the PLANCHA with warm water and dish soap.
- Do not use steel wool or scouring tools – soft, lint-free cloths work best.
- For a deep clean, use a foam-based grill and oven cleaner.
- Let it soak overnight (cover with plastic wrap to prevent drying).
- Then dry thoroughly and re-oil.
- Wipe off excess oil with a cotton cloth – your PLANCHA is ready for the next BBQ!
*Never use olive oil – it’s not suitable for this method.
Also, remember to remove ash regularly from the ash tray.
