How do I best clean my fire bowl, fire basket, or CONE?

To clean the exterior surfaces of CONE and CUBE, use only lukewarm water with a little mild dish soap. For BOWL (including BOWL 57 & 70), the interior of CONE, and all grill grates, a foam-based grill or oven cleaner is ideal—let it soak in for optimal effect. Always choose soft, lint-free cloths for cleaning—never steel wool or abrasive tools.

Cleaning the PLANCHA: After grilling, use a spatula to remove food and grease from the still-warm PLANCHA, pushing the residue toward the center or the flames. You’ll find a suitable spatula in our accessories section. For stubborn grease, adding a splash of cold water or an ice cube helps release it. Allow the PLANCHA to cool before rubbing it lightly with heat-resistant cooking oil.* Over time, you’ll notice a natural patina developing—just like on classic cast iron pans. Alternatively, wipe the PLANCHA with warm water and a little mild dish soap. Avoid steel wool and abrasive materials—stick with soft, lint-free cloths. For a deep clean, apply a foam-based grill and oven cleaner, let it soak overnight, and cover with cling film to keep it from drying out. After cleaning, dry thoroughly and rub with a little oil. Wipe away any excess with a cotton cloth—your PLANCHA is set for your next outdoor feast. Never use olive oil, as it is not suitable for this care method.
